The site you noticed ...Thank you for your interest! The site you noticed is indeed in the SMR - but you did pick something up as I also had it in my list of unusual features(it was going to appear in the Co. Down inventory). Officially, it's recorded as a likely tree-ring within the confines of the Killyleagh Estate and it certainly has the dimensions and the look of one. However, what's intriguing is that there appears to be no records of it within the Estate documents AND, as you can see from the GE layer, there is a conspicuous 'wheel-like' arrangement within the interior (a feature I haven't come across at the other tree-rings I have looked at). A potentially interesting site indeed!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00795430875954045457noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3091715531965750898.post-50385216607480924672015-02-28T07:54:52.666-08:002015-02-28T07:54:52.666-08:00Have a look at this. An integration within the SMR will have to be carried out in some way or other down the road but I don't have further details as to how (and not before a few months time for various logistic reasons anyway).<br />Until then and (secretly) hoping that my involvement won't ever be limited to this blog, I will try to publish as much as I can in my spare time and see what this disclosure will bring...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00795430875954045457noreply@blogger.com
